Thank you for sharing this! I'm not sure whether to get Novavax due to this, also since it's $130 and I don't have insurance. I've been behind boosters because of all the conflicting info and how fast Covid has been mutating, but I want to protect myself with more than my N95 and air purifiers at home. This is so frustrating!

I got the Novavax vaccine after 4 doses of Moderna. I had zero side effects, which was a pleasant change. I don't have any worries about a possible autoimmune response. The effect of covid is what worries more.

The impact of COVID is potentially very serious, with each new infection increasing the risks. It is very serious for the millions of people suffering with Long COVID.

We just want to make sure that the current vaccines don't increase the risks instead of helping reduce risk.

Keep in mind that the IgG4 antibodies don't become an issue until several months after the vaccine or infection. Not having any reaction for a few months doesn't necessarily mean you won't have any issues. Hopefully you won't but just be aware that it takes 2 to 3 months for IgG1 antibodies to wane and IgG4 antibodies to keep increasing before the ratio of IgG4/IgG1 crosses the line that is different for everyone, based on a combination of various factors.

The IgG4 class switch is scary to me, because one study showed that it happened to everyone whose first exposure to the spike proteint was through a mRNA vaccine. It seems urgent to learn as much as possible.
