Minor point here...rather than mention 'SCOPE', it might be better to refer to mouthwashes with Cetyl Pyridinium Chloride (CPC). 'Scope' just contains flavorings, I think (??) Scope is simply a 'mouthwash' whereas products containing CPC are often referred to as 'Dental Rinses' because they are Active.

Thanks for pointing that out. Not all types of Scope contain CPC.

"Scope Outlast" ingredients- The active ingredients of Scope are cetylpyridinium chloride, domiphen bromide, and denatured alcohol, while the inactive ingredients are water, glycerin, polysorbate 80, sodium saccharin, sodium benzoate, benzoic acid, Blue 1

Other mouthwashes containing CPC include Up&up Anticavity Alcohol-Free Fluoride Mouth Rinse, Crest Pro-Health Clinical Deep Clean Mint CPC, and Crest Gum Care Mouthwash, Colgate Kids Bello Bubble Fruit Mouthwash plus more.

CPC mouthwashes inactivate viruses, including Covid viruses, by breaking their lipid envelope.

Study:

"Efficacy of Cetylpyridinium Chloride mouthwash against SARS-CoV-2: A systematic review of randomized controlled trials"

"Conclusion: Mouthwashes containing cetylpyridinium chloride are effective against salivary viral load of SARS-CoV-2 in vivo. There is also the possibility that the use of mouthwash containing cetylpyridinium chloride in SARS-CoV-2 positive subjects could reduce transmissibility and severity of COVID-19."
