Metformin slows replication and shortens symptom duration. (more info here) (must be taken as early as possible after symptoms or positive test.)
Paxlovid is still being recommended, however the latest data shows Metformin may provide better results than Paxlovid, with a lower risk of side effects.
3. Zinc slows replication and shortens symptom duration.
4. Famotidine slows the production of inflammatory cytokines aiding in a faster recovery.
5. Mouthwash with CPC kills the virus in the mouth & throat. Use before meals and before bed to help keep as many viral particles in the mouth and throat from getting into the GI Tract.
6. Saline nasal rinse also helps to limit the amount of viral replication in the nasal passages and helps to clear out the congestion.
7. Vitamins, C, B complex, D3 w/K2, and E.
8. Drink plenty of water.
9. No sugar.
10. Get plenty of sleep but don’t forget to walk around a little every hour or two to keep the blood moving.
11. Get at least 15 to 20 minutes outside to absorb some sun so your body kicks in some Vitamin D.
12. Remember that COVID weakens the immune system so take extra care to avoid getting infected with another variant or any other pathogen. Some people recover in a week and others take many months. That is often determined by the amount of virus someone is initially exposed to.
